I've had a takacat for a few years, got several friends with them. Another friend thought he was missing out.... so on a whim ordered a brand new one... and after one short 20 min trip was told in no uncertain terms by his wife 'it must go !'

Did it come with the transom wheels or did you have to purchase them separate? If so, which kind did you get?
Wrote a note said, 'back in a minute'. Bought a boat and I sailed off in it.

Re: Takacat 380LX and Tohatsu 20hp
The transom wheels are made specific for the Takacat and are a £199 option..... not cheap but a must and a really easy/ clever design.

Re: Takacat 380LX and Tohatsu 20hp
Well done ! I love these little cat boats - however a word of caution - be very wary of the wheels - they are not bespoke to Takacat - Takacat just buy them in and weld the mounts to the bar ..and with a heavy motor watch for any sign of bending of the mount or the lower transom bar .
