Re: Saturday 26th June -- Christchurch to Swanage
Great day out guy’s.
Good to meet some new faces and big thanks to @bbutty for organising and as acting harbour pilot on the day.
Think we did around 35 miles and burnt through about 10 litres of boat juice…so not too shabby two up.
Weather god’s played ball and gave us decent weather, light winds and a flat sea…apart from that pesky little lumpy stretch on the return leg past Hengistbury Head…ouch!

Can I add my thanks to @bbutty for organising a great day out. It was great to meet @harrison and @sonny1, and to see @ChrisParish again in the new Aerotec. Lovely day, great trip and hope to do it again. A few pics to add:

Re: Saturday 26th June -- Christchurch to Swanage
A massive thanks to @bbutty for organising this.
It was great to meet you and I look forward to some more outings from Christchurch.
The little Ocean runners are very nippy - Ben spent his time zooming back and forwards amongst the pack. I was also impressed with the Excel Volaire - it was quick and seems to pop into the plane easily.
I had some problems on the way out with excessive splashing over the transom (classic Aerotec problem) but adjusting the trim helped no end. It was the first time I have been out in chop in the Aerotec and I was incredibly impressed by it - I had a reasonably comfortable ride. Apparently I spent quite a bit of time airborne
I shot a load of video, so I will get something edited up.
