Re: Leafield valves
Hi there,
I've bought this pump inflator: https://www.ribstore.co.uk/collections/ ... e-13-8-psi
Regarding the valve adapter should I buy the 16mm or the 20mm? (with the spring, of course)
https://www.ribstore.co.uk/products/lea ... 4040721508
I sent them a message asking that but strangely I received a reply saying they don't know
Thanks guys

Re: Leafield valves
Ha Ha. If they’re selling you the pump as well then get them to confirm...lazy beggars.
For what it’s worth I reckon you’ll need the 20mm one.

Re: Leafield valves
I've just ordered two D7 20mm valve adapters with spring.
Thanks for the tip, harrison.

Re: Leafield valves
At last the 20mm D7 valve adapters arrived!
And they fit pretty good in the hose.
Thanks, Harrison.

Re: Leafield valves
@harrison, I've used the adapter for the first time and it's amazing the improvement that I achieved with it.
Normally it took around 15mn to fully insuflate the 3 tubes (bow plus the two side tubes) and now using the adapters with the internal spring it reduces to....less than 8mn.
Besides that there is no more hose being pulled out when near the end of the insufflation process the pressure inside the tubes is very high.
So, the money spent on the adapters was highly worthy
