@Sibfisher Cheers for that. I am still waiting on my order from Boatworld for the rod holders. I might give them a shout today.

Here are some pics of my transducer mounted. It might help when you do yours. Mine is the telescopic version, so I can alter the depth.

I grey got in touch with Boatworld about the Borika mount they got back to me and said they should have the mount mid to end May but with the Corona virus they don't know when to expect them.

That's when I found the company in Lithuania and ordered from them, I found them very good to deal with and very promt getting back to me, the mounts were sent yesterday with a tracking number and they told me should arrive in about a week, I will do an update when they arrive,

I have bought the standard transducer arm looking at Harrison mount I will do the same.

@Gray i know you said that is the telescopic Mount, but your transducer looks way way too low in the water. If you try and move at any speed with it down it will get ripped off. The transducer should be level with or slightly below the waterline.
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

I thought that too, mine is on the same mount - but mine clamps to the transom. I've set it at an angle outwards to get it level with bottom of boat and away from disrupted water flow.

Once in position you can lock off the position. I can leave mine on if trailered, if folding it's ready to be clamped on and already set for angle and depth.
Why am I here - I should be in my boat fishing!!

Don't forget this is a cat style boat, the transom sits higher in the water. With it being telescopic I can adjust it once in the water.

Cheers Martin. I really need the Borika holders as the boat is fitted with their mounts. I do have an old Railblaza holder which fits but won't lock as the fitment is a little different.

Yes, that’s true to a degree but at non-planing speeds the transom will still be below water level although I agree that at planing speeds it should be above the waterline.
I still think it is way too low, but it’s hard to tell from the photos. You may have to lay it back at an angle like @warder54

Very interesting I was not sure how low to fix my transducer mount and arm when I get it, now I have some sort of idea when doing the job.
I looked at harrisons setup if I am not wrong does his is look about right.
As Grey said and I have read with the borika mounts you have to use them, the place I have bought them from are about the same as boatworld could be a bit cheaper.
