I noticed that the BTP12 model has a little analog gauge on it that shows the current tube pressure. That seems like a nice little feature but I wanted to make sure that it actually works that way before I buy.
Yes it does, though to be honest I do t think they’re that accurate.
When double checking my old T38ie pressure with a hodwave Manometer I always found a few a few psi difference, but again...the Frib tube pressure isn’t as important as the floor pressure on a T38ie.

Mine has been spot on when compared to the gauge which came with my Honwave. Of course, both of them could be wrong....
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

In case you're not already aware, the BTP12 allows you to set the required inflation pressure on the dial and will automatically cut off when it's reached.
BP12 will do the same, I got one after trying to pump mine manually, and ended up looking like I just smoked a pack of 20 ! Never again !

Just ordered a BTP12 from Amazon for $108 shipped. The price difference was minimal from the BP12 and I like the idea of being able to keep an eye on the pressure during inflation. Also from the pics on the listing it shows that it comes with a bayonet fitting with several different washers so that’ll save me a few bucks.

Just to be sure, 0.25 Bar is the correct pressure for a FRIB 430 right? No manual came with the boat :LMT I guess that saves me from NOT reading it!

Great news on the bravo, sounds a good price :clappy

As far as i'm aware, all the fribs are at 0.25 bar, you can double check that by looking on the transom plate, it should tell you on there.
I didx have an online manual link some time ago, i'll try and find it over the next day or so.. :thumbsup

Martin is correct. Its 0.25, i have a 430. Inflate from the rear to the front. Ive been advised to take tubes to 0.2, then once all are inflated top up again starting at the rear and pump to 0.25.

I always inflate in stages:

1st - inflate each compartment until tubes take shape, then I can fit seats across tubes, etc.
2nd - inflate each compartment up to around 2 psi (0.14 bar), I tend to store my rib on it's trailer like this
3rd - top up to full working pressure

I'd not want to stress the baffles by inflating one compartment to full working pressure with no air in an adjacent compartment

This talk about pumps has got me wanting, no I mean needing an upgrade from my current BP to a one piece battery powered Bravo pump. My wife doesn't know it yet but she has a Bravo 20-1 on order as my Christmas present. While this will make assembly of my F-rib easier as I won't have to move the car to attach the alligator clips my real motivator is to ease her gift buying efforts. I hope she believe that!

The BTP12 arrived in the mail and I’m quite pleased with its quality. The carrier bag is also very nice and keeps the hose and cables tidy. Mine came with a bayonet fitting attached to the black hose and I’m wondering if anyone knows how to remove it so I can use the other nozzles and fittings that came with it? It doesn’t seem to be screwed on
