Not sure who set the dinghy racing course across the end of the slipway in Poole - but not the smartest move & 'interesting' getting across them all !

Dancing ledge snorkelling Mon 6 Aug 2018
Managed to get the RIB round to Dancing ledge and St Albans head on Monday - always wanted to get there and swim in the caves . Took a very experienced diver mate who was also keen . Not sure what his gopro will come out like , but amazing ! Lots of big wrasse , a big Bass & super clear water and tunnels to swim through
Sorry no better pics at the moment - but I do have better idea of the sea floor for boating in the caves now

Not ashore as such. The odd scramble on a rock. Yep.. the pool is still there... story was it blown out by the quarrymen (not the band) to keep cool when working in the summer.. it's not going anywhere! It's also alot colder than the sea.. the rock seems to suck heat out of it:(

Good pic Martin! It's an unforgiving bit of a coast in bad weather but when it's a gentle northerly it's awesome...
I have been out there in 9m rib and struggled to safely turn the boat back the waves were so big... different days and different worlds!!!

We need to do another Jurassic coast run again Peter. Maybe Poole to Durdle Door and back next time.

Weather permitting I'm hoping to do Weymouth to Lulworth Cove next week whilst on holiday with the other half and her girls.
I'm not really a Hobbit, just look like one. Real name is "Andy".

Chris, was talking with Peter on Saturday and a Poole outing was mentioned for sometime during September

Re: Dancing ledge snorkelling Mon 6 Aug 2018
Pics look great - I must find the time to get out on the 4.8RC down the coast as well as working whilst the weather is good. Love the Baiter pics though - looks a little chaotic!
