How do I get a F-Rib 375 across soft sand

Thank you for all the good advice on dealing with sand. I am trying to find a local store to look at them so I don't make another mistake.

Just for the record my granddaughter is in a US coastguard approved child vest although it looks like the old blow up arm bands in the picture.

Hi guys

I am ordering 3 Aere Beach rollers from West Marine. It looks like a cost effective way to start addressing the problem of moving a 375 f-rib on soft sand to the water. I hope to try them out next weekend.

The Aere Beach Rollers came in and I had a chance to try them out over the weekend. Success!!! I was able to move a f375 with a 20 hp mercury across soft sand alone.

I live and work about 2.5 hours from lake Huron. The units by the water are 16 condos that until the late 70's were run by my wife's aunt as motel efficiencies for summer vacationers. She sold them as condos to retire at that time and 7 were bought by family. Family members now have 9 of the 16 units since another owner has married into the family and I bought a second unit last year for our adult kids and there children.
We are fortunate enough to be able to go up there most weekends. We just do the general household work like cutting the grass and fixing a faucet on weekdays after work. It's worth the effort.
When the kids were young they were able to spent time on the beach with their cousins making great memories and mom and dad had an abundance of great babysitters for later in the evening. Were were fortunate have a close family and a place to meet up.

Food for thought for me if I end up doing more beach launches again. The rollers look like they’ll handle the steep shingle we get in the south of England and, whilst pretty expensive, they’re still much cheaper than a boat dolly on balloon wheels!

The rollers are thick and fabric reinforced and are much stronger than I expected. I can not walk across the sharp stones bare foot but rolling a fully loaded f-375 cross our crushed rock road is no problem.
