Hi and Hello!
Hi, I have just sold my fishing boat and bought a Honwave SIB with a 20 hp Honda 4 stroke. I wasn't getting enough use out of the boat as it was too large to move around and launch.
There will be 2 of us fishing and was looking at getting a cool box that could double up as a 2nd seat? Has anyone else done this and if so can you reccomend one that best fits the Honwave?
We are used to haveing a lot of space in our old boat and will have to scale down our tackle so slightly worried about the size and weight of a cool box!
I fish around Anglesey and the North Wales coast and would welcome anyones experience of this area in a SIB.
Cheers
Dave

Re: cool box seat
Just fitted one to my wee rib, seats two (just), dry storage, keeps the beer/food cool and it can be removed in two seconds

Re: cool box seat
on the cooler thing if you can get single cell foam, wedge in each side of the cooler stops it from moving at all , , going to test it out next weekend
