I have a 2.8m Avon RIB that I carry on an MPV roof. No problem whatsoever. Avon RIBs are heavy as well, mine is 60kg
Check your roof bar/rack weight rating first. If thats ok, I unscrew the radio aerial and put a tarpaulin over the roof to avoid scratching. Lift the front of the RIB and stand the rib on its stern and lean it against the car on the tarpaulin, then lift the back and slide it forward on the roof rack. Its no harder to lift than carrying an outboard. Just make sure ts tied down tight, lol. Last year after I bought the boat I just used a couple of bits of rope and it flopped about all over the place, I've bought proper ratchet straps now and will be looking at maybe flat wood on the roof rack to support it better. It felt safe enough, just flapped about a bit.

Re: ADVICE ON A ROOFRACK BOAT
Hope to get the trailer sorted this week. The rib is definitely light enough to fit on the roofrack. I'll post some rig photos when it's done.

Yay
glad it's arrived at last matey
By the time you've adjusted the trailer to fit the weather should have sorted itself out ready to go boating
Congratulations and good times ahead
