Poole harbour cruise in company in Oct or Nov

Post by chris moody » 12 Aug 2016, 07:22

I think we should do another Poole Harbour cruise in company. After the 1st of October would be best as then the 10 kts speed limit in the main channel, Wareham channel, and north channel is relaxed allowing us to get up on the plane (The 6 kts speed limit stays in force in the quiet area round the south and west of Brownsea island).

Anyone else up for an October or November Poole Harbour sib cruise?

I'd be up for it if I have another SIB by then.

It's also a long drive from Yorkshire for me.

If I do get the chance of going down, I'll be happy to let you jump aboard both the car and FRIB, Dom.

I'm busy with holidays and moving house during the first half of Oct. So I'm doing this Poole harbour or Wareham river trip during the second half of Oct or first half of Nov. Dates will be movable as I'm wanting to do this on a dry day (boating in the rain isn't as much fun). Who is still up for it?
