Advise on SIB & Engine Combo
I am slowly piecing together a good deal of guidance and information from the forum which is proving to be a great source of top-notch advise. I aim to buy a 3 metre air deck Boatworld inflatable with an 8Hp Orca outboard. The area I want to use it is between Ardnamurchan and Jura on the West Coast of Scotland. Any thoughts on whether or not this is a suitable combo for this area would be gratefully received. The boat has an inflatable keel and deck which apparently gives a reasonable ride in a chop. I also need to be able to stash the engine and boat into my car (hatchback) . Thanks in advance.

Hi and
to the forum!
I Would have thought that if you are mindful of the conditions and follow all pertinent safety protocols then you would be ok.

Re: Advise on SIB & Engine Combo
Did you get your setup , how did it go up at Ardnamurchan ,
I have a Honwave T38 and 8hp, usually use it around Oban on holidays,
I usually keep to the bays as the sea/wind can be horrendous here
