What trailer for FRib 360?
I've just got an frib 360 that comes with an extreme 650. I'd like the whole package to go in the garage, but the trailer is a bit wide at 195cm across the mudguards, what with the other storage in there.
Are there other decent trailer options that are a chunk narrower?
Thanks

Re: What trailer for FRib 360?
Hi @glasgowdan,
Nice rig you have there.
Must admit does seem a tad wide at 195cm as
most 750kg down trailers come in at between 155 to 160cm including Extreme. Our 5m rib Snipe trailer is only 157cm wide even though boat has a 225cm beam.
Looking at your pic on other thread it has extra wide tyres and mudguards. Could probably save over 20cm or so just by swapping over to some standard width jobbies.
Also noticed your 360 is nowhere near the bow snubber as winch post is too high/forward. Looks like a second snubber has been added which is all a bit odd. Might be wrong but from your photo trailer perhaps appears a tad large for the hull.
Trailer looks good though, so probably a keeper and worth modding to suit hull better. Much cheaper than buying another. A smaller/lower winch post further back and some standard wheels/mudguards should address most of the issues.

Yes I hadn't even thought about the wheels to be honest, but the guy did fit wide ones.
I THINK I can move everything forwards and get the boat sat on the original snubber. It may be a bit of trial and error. It'd certainly help reduce the overall length as well for garaging. Thanks

Project shorten trailer almost done, and I'll replace the wheels/tyres/mudguards. All looks good, cheers for the prompt!

My Indespension is 147 inches long, with the lightboard extension bars tucked in. 52 inches wide, from the outside of the mudguards.
