Honwave t38 trailer

Post by Mitch » 12 Jan 2019, 17:19

I am thinking of getting a trailer to keep the t38 blown up all the time rather than blowing up & putting everything on the boat at the launch site which takes forever or about an hour at least.
I only have 16’ length room in the garage I use, is that enough space?
Do I need rollers or beds for the air floor?

My T38 lives on its trailer all year round, I’ve got a ducks back cover for it, the trailer has 2 wide bunks which support both the tubes and the floor , also has an adjustable keel roller under the transom

I will get you some pics and overall length tomorrow

My T38 sits on what I suspect is a converted jetski trailer. It came with the boat so not sure of the history. It has a couple of wide wooden bunks for the tubes, but I have no proper transom support and I suspect the trailer is slightly short for it's current use.

However dimension-wise the whole setup appears to be almost exactly 15' from tip of tow bar coupling to the rear of the tubes. About 180 inches or just under 4.6m.

I'm interested to see what other trailers folk are using for the T38. There are several issues with mine that I'm not massively happy about. Mainly that it seems to be a bit of a Frankenstein's monster so finding replacement parts is a painful process.

My Indespension Trailer is parked in my garage with my F-Rib 375 sat on it. The outboard is hung on the transom.
The overfall length from front of the hitch coupling to the outer rear edge of the Suzuki 20hp in a staight position is 15 foot exactly.
I do deflate my tubes though, The tubes being inflated would add a slight amout of overall length.

Don't forget Mitch, We do a trailer discount scheme for supporting members. This is the sort of thing you would require.

Far better to post on the forum guys, it’s here to share info and help others.
If all info and pics were sent in pm, there wouldn’t really be much point of the forums.

Point taken Martin, my fault because I pm’d Paul B for pics of his boat & traler,
Here’s what he sent me for which I thank him.
It basically shows how the boat fits on the trailer.
