Latest ' I can't help myself' purchases
I can always tell when the days get shorter as my spend on things to amuse me in the garage increases... Latest 2...
Anytime else have this seasonal affliction? ...
An ex rnli fuel bladder.... not the best colour match to the sib.... but very useful in all sorts of situations. Had several of the zodiac ones but never this type. Currently being pressure tested before I fill it.
And an old tatty 2hp Suzuki to go on 'my little friend' as we are planning a boys weekend in salcombe with the slowest least hp tenders we can find.... it'll never be as good as Andy's engine refurb... but it should be a laugh

I’ve never had a salami or such, i do like the idea of them but I don’t like the price .. they do always look inadequate though compared to their plastic derivative.
The Suzuki tart up will be a great one to follow. Andy Polisher does do a Stirling job I agree, but again - I’ve seen some of the boats and such you’ve sold on after a little tickling up and they’ve been superb.

Not that I'm aware of - off to Poole later to get it. Weather tomorrow looks breezy and cold so plans are on hold - but I have several hours of time free'd up to fettle the thing
Chris - of course you can drive it like you stole it - these things are built to be anti-social, hated , noisy , expensive to run, stupidly fast, driven flat out at 10,000 revs and most importantly FUN !
Jetksi has more appeal in winter for me as less people out there to give you evil looks (even if you are being super sensible), the choice of clothing is a non event - drysuit or drysuit ? They can deal with any weather that you sensibly may encounter and you know you will be dressed for it

Not that quick actually
- maybe just hitting 50 ish knts - which on something that small is quite quick.
If I remember things correctly from fluid dynamics at uni --- all down to hull length and the drag being less on 'long things' - until you get to not actually planing and just 'flying' just above the water...
