Billyboy 2 - or Return to Billyboy

Post by acidcloud » 15 Sep 2018, 17:49

Managed to grab an afternoon and its a bit rough out so went back to Billyboy an inshore mark near Shoreham, East Sussex.
The area around Billyboy "an old barge wreck carrying stone/concrete blocks" is rough ground and is proving a very good area for rays.
Must be a Ray magnet cos I bagged an even bigger Undulate Ray this afternoon, caught on single hook, with live bait "joey" Mack
Im pulling a face cos it was in the bl**dy heavy range.
Had my 20lb rod bent double gave a really good fight. Catch and release of course for such a beautiful fish.

Yes I am enjoying the new boat when I can get some personal time.
Being able to run down to the marina and get out to sea without working out if the tides are right means I can take advantage of when i get a short break.
Thanks for all the nice comments on "Grey Goose".

Also big apology for anyone interested in the T38 and Suzuki 20hp with my Mum ill I didnt get time to reply to interested members.
Sorry it is now all sold.
