Yamaha 9.9.... sides

Post by PeterM » 17 May 2018, 20:43

Having decided the Johnson 15 was just too much power ove done a nice deal on a 2007 yam 9.9 4 stroke.

However which side can I lay it on. I can't see any stickers to tell me :(

Not sure what model it is, have a look at this manual, if not then you may find the right manual at the same website. ... =42#manual

i usually go by the dipstick up rule, however, that looks almost identical to my mariner 15(323cc), which the manual says may be left clamps down, clamps up or dipstick up.
