I use one of these and I made an attachment that gets strapped to the underside of the boat to the 3 d rings
I'll try and dig out the thing I made so you have an idea

Sorry mate I forgot all about it.
This sits wonder the boat at the front and is held in place by 3 straps. That go through the the front 3 D rings.
Once the straps are tightened it's is very secure. The tow ball of the puller sits inside the hole and the boat can be moved forwards backwards and the puller can even be moved at 90 degrees to the boat so it is very manoeuvrable
