Pete, I'm happy to go up this coming Saturday - 29th April.. :drive

:stop I have a couple of spare life jackets that I'm happy to lend you for the day, you wont need an anchor, I have plenty of rope, I have a bravo pump and a battery pack to help with the inflation process.

All you need is you, your boat, your outboard, a drop of fuel and oil (2stroke outboard i presume) £4 for parking and a butty or two for your dinner.
If your bringing a child, i don't have a spare kiddies life jacket, you will need one. If you have a kid in his/her teens - my lifejacket should be fine.

"I will have my little (6yr old) girl with me", but she's a seasoned Ullswater expert :busted
Obviously weather dependant, but what do you think ?

That would be fantastic Martin, now I'm really excited :yay We don't have any kids as such, but a nine year old Cavalier who'll becoming along, we go everywhere together! Would your little girl prefer chocolate cake or a Victoria sponge? And does she have any nut allergies? Saying that I hope you don't either...
I'm going to attempt the pump the SIB up this morning and giver her a wash, then it'll give me some practice trying to fold her up...

OOoooh, Cake !!!
She does have nut allergies, she doesn't like them
She's choco mad, but gets limited on what we allow her :shame
I on the other hand am allergic to nothing and i'm a grown up, so i eat what i want ... Talk about hypocritical

Hopefully the weather gods will play in our favour, it'll be grand to meet up and have a steady run up the lake. :drive

My fault as I should have checked, too excited I suppose and taking folk at their word! We've just inflated the tubes to give her a wash down and found a patch under one tube...I've put lots of washing up liquid on it and there are no leaks. Just a little annoyed I didn't check, still I love her to bits :D
