Sorry to hear of the history.. but... on to the next !!

I have a friend who has had small. Boats ribs and sibs in roller trailers and then had launch wheels .

Reversed to the waters edge, launch wheels down and roll 10ft back in to the water... but....

We found it quicker and less work to launch of the trailer traditionally! .. rollers need to be onto the tubes... which can be hard to set up as they usually roll up a hull inside tubes... allow tubes to hang over the wheels.

On a sib rollers on the floor fabric will lead to issues. If its light abs you use decent slipways don't be afraid of bunks.

Bunks are far better than rollers for a sib in my book as they support the load over a greater area. Far too easy for rollers to damage tubes/floor and a fairly simple job to remove rollers and add bunks to most trailers. Not cheap though buying parts from the trailer outfits.

Coincidentally recently needed to convert our roller trailer for occasional bunk use to carry a sib short term. Not wishing to remove the roller set up, cobbled together some removable bunks supported off the rollers. They’re simply unstrapped and lifted off when not needed.

No decent pics of the set up but this one taken mid construction hopefully shows the idea.
