I still have my F-Rib 360, but I have not used it in a few years.

Maybe business owners can pay to keep it running in exchange for a logo? Just a thought?

I did reply but it disappeared?
I would chip in a modest amount as i visit most days to see if anything new.

I detest facebook that is killing these type of forums but is plagued by adds, spam and scams which people seem prepared to put up with. go figure!

The thing that bugs me is people ask for help / an opinion so you give one and then they never come back on to check for answers.
Was it worth replying i the first place ? did they get it sorted ?, i hope so.

As someone who is quite new to sibs it’s a shame if your forum here closes, as outwith a couple of regular sib/frib posters on the other channel, it obviously is more geared to the big boys.

I do drop in past here quite often to view previous threads and gain certain information, but to be honest haven’t the time to be posting on both forums.

Unfortunately other social media outlets (most of whom I actually hate and can’t be arsed with all the adverts, hype and drama) have taking over.

As a keen amateur photographer many years ago I belonged to several busy forums, which sadly have all ended in the same way, as the digital age progressed and social media developed into the crap it is today.

As such I understand the cost and work involved in trying to keep this place going, so totally understand that you guys have all got lives to get on with.

All I’ve got left to say is a big thank you to the contributors here and the other channel, who have opened up a boating world to many, who probably didn’t even know it existed.

Wish you all well, whatever you guys decide to do!

Thankyou for posting, I really appreciate you doing so - the fact that you’re a new poster but long time forum watcher shows that some others (apart from our fantastic regular crew) do actually care about forum ..
We run Facebook groups too but try to get people here from Facebook, I use it as an extension to the forum, not a replacement.

Welcome back. I hope everything is alright.

I for one was gutted when the site went offline. I'm very grateful for the advice and knowledge I gained from this forum and and it remains a hugely valuable resource for future searches and so on.

I know that forums everywhere are getting a bit quiet these days, but please stick with it if you can, either with community contributions or advertising.

All the best

Simon
