14th June, Sunday On The Solent

[Sibfisher]

Sounds like you all had great time as they say No pain no gain look forward seeing the photos if you have them, looks a bit rough Froglet

[harrison]

Hey @Sib-fisher, not rough or dangerous...a benign flat sea with a short, steep, wind against tide generated chop...evil for light tiny boats at anything above displacement speed.
Still bleedin good fun though.

Come on down for the next jaunt if you’re not already in Portugal. Great experience in the company and safety of others.

@ChrisParish, pencil me in for a Poole jaunt...won’t be ‘up north’ for a few week’s yet methinks’ thanks to Boris.

[Sibfisher]

Thanks for the invite and I would love to join in and meet you all but a bit too far for me to travel, also just have conformation we have a booking on the 5th July for the ferry from Plymouth to Santander so it will be getting ready for the journey back.
Good news I will keep you all updated when I am there.

[ChrisParish]

Excellent. We expect pictures and videos to make us all jealous.

[sladonians]

@ChrisParish I’m up for a Poole Harbour and Old Harry jaunt in the SIB, count me in.

[sladonians]

Cool @sladonians, it will be good to see you again (and in a proper boat this time )
Right. I will start looking at dates and put something together. Probably the weekend after next if the weather is good.

[Roy54]

@The Hobbit looking good Andy, How are your knees?

The knees are doing fine thanks and the deck is certainly putting them to the test!!

[sladonians]

Let me know ref the Poole trip - might just get in a trip for ourselves before we get back to work properly and lose weekends :-)
