Detachable flat floor.
I wanted a flat floor in the F-RIB, so I had an idea. I used to work with guys who made polyurethane moulds for aircraft parts. I bought 2 part foam & created this. It just needs levelling off, then I will cover the top with detachable plastic non-slip decking

Re: Detachable flat floor.
Interesting idea, the place that would be most useful for me I reckon is the bow section as the shape and rise make it a pain to store stuff there.
The mid section on my 330 is just the right size to strap the 20l fuel tank in so less concerned with that.
Cheers,
MM

Oh wow you have just made my day, been wondering what to use to do the same. Keep me posted as to how this goes. Also how strong is the flooring? Will it hold a steering mount?

I am going to use 30 x 30cm plastic decking boards. They are about 13mm thick. I don't know how strong they would be for jockey seats & steering mounts etc.
