E10BACNS is the model no. The one in the link looks about right but what a price.

You might find one second hand on eBay. I sold an 1984 version of that engine to one of our members ( @James ) for spares or repair so he might have a spare seal. You do sometimes find people on eBay who are breaking an engine so that might be a good way of getting the part you need.

Yeh, park foot is where I launch normally, a fiver to park and launch- it does me.
Plenty space to sort your gear, very shallow launch but no probs for sibs.
I usually take picnic and do the full length of the lake.. a great day out with smashing scenery

No buddy, Ullswater is one of the good lakes where you don’t have to register etc, there is a speed limit in place but I’ve occasionally forgotten my Frib is quick and I lived to tell the tail lol..
That’s said, a few of us out will attract the lake polices attention that’s for sure

My SIB should be with me mid to end of February so looking forward to an outing as soon as the weather is agreeable after that. I would ideally like to meet up with experienced SIB pilots to ensure I don't do anything I shouldn't on my first trip out.

Re: Anywere to sail local to Derbyshire?
The good thing about the lakes is they’re big enough to give you a little insight to rougher stuff as opposed to canals etc, certainly not the level of the sea but better than a puddle.
If I’m available around then I’ll gladly help you out up at Ullswater.

Pencil me in for a jaunt on Ullswater.
Also if you fancy a sedate river run on the Trent then I’ve previously launched from Farndon marina near Newark. Some info here;
