F-Rib 360 V 375

Post by Sonofgum » 14 Jan 2020, 17:12

Hi all

With reference to my last post (F-Rib 375) I am again seeking more advice. I am set to buy an F-Rib but I am still torn between the 360 or the 375, I was set to order a 375 but after talking with the dealer I now wonder if I would be better off with the 360. The Rib will be trailer-ed most of the time but with the 360 folded it will definitely fit in the back of my car whereas the 375 will not, so that coupled with the extra weight of the 375, I am now suffering the agony of indecision.

As per my last post, does anyone know if the Beachmaster wheels I have will now fit a 360 if I go down that route. I have seen them fitted to a 375 via this forum but am not sure about the 360 and the dealer is doubtful as he says the boat is too narrow. Has anyone fitted beachmasters to a F-Rib 360 ?

Finally, is there any good advice out there that will help me make up my mind. These boats are not cheap and on a limited income I would like to get the biggest bang for my buck and not make a monumental tallywhacker up. There is very little difference in size between both boats, about 10 cms in cockpit width and 15 cm in length so does the difference in size make a great deal of difference overall.

Hi, I own a 360 and happy with my choice, for me it's more versatile as like yourself it needed to fit in a car when not being trailered locally. (Sods law - I bought a pick up for other reasons soon after getting the F-Rib!!) I think you'll find (but Check) that the 360 and 375 have the same transom dimensions and only vary in the length of the folding sections.
Why am I here - I should be in my boat fishing!!

Also gives an idea of how seaworthy they are - I reach my limit before it does!!

You save £300 by not getting an extra 15cms!
