Well...... I notice @harrison uses a room in his house to inlfate his new toys, so I thought I would put the lounge to good use over Christmas and start a major refurbishment of one of my pinball machines.

Its too cold outside to do this in the barn, and I can have a beer and watch some telly at the same time.

This is a 1962 Williams Pinball. Most of it works ok, but have to take apart some of the playfield parts and refurb em to make em work faster.

The playfield needs a good clean and then a polish. The plunger needs some de-greasing and a few parts, and I really need to install a coin mech. Lots of the metal needs cleaning and re polishing, inc the legs.

I need a new back glass for this one, but the only one I can find is like £300 from the US, ouch !

Lol !
Been testing all the coils, they are ok. Started cleaning the points and resetting the distance between the switches, which there are hundreds!

Had a few beers!

Considering buying another house, until building a shed no room to stash the sib, engine and other boating stuff... ☹️
On the other hand a great opportunity thinking about stashing things properly and more handy in the new house! 😀
Besides that, another toy for a boy, a RC stadion truck with a lipo 3S battery. Fun, fun, fun

Had a lengthy 6month run at being a transport manager for a very large worlwide company, enjoyed it no end then the showers of shit extended my probation period, so back to my own truck again now as i told them to shove it lol...
Might just have to get some boating in early this year now as i haven't been out since i visited Scotland last year.

I downsized my Mitsubishi Delica V6 petrol 8 seats 4x4 import to a Fiat Qubo 1.3tdi dynamic (diesel)

Sad to see it go :thud :thud

Remembering when Paul came down with his vehicle some time ago, which he could load his boat and motor in and out of the back so easily :thumbsup

So I thought when it's time I'd look for something similar :drive not sure if Paul's car was a Skoda Yeti?

Anyway I found what I was looking for in Whitchurch,Shropshire .

A car sales business next to motor world .

Anyway being a motor mechanic by trade they supplied 4 X Bosch glo plugs and a timing chain kit which I said I'd fit myself.
I have saved £115.00 on road tax (£30) Half my motor insurance £183.00 from £360 ! And fuel :IANW

Still got half a tank worth £25 to £30 left having done over 300 miles so far :o

Got the timing chain to do when this weather subsides
