So, to save me looking, what is the service schedule in order to maintain the warranty on an OB ?

Re: Wow.... .price for service Honda BF15d
ian, i am puzzled!!! why go to two different dealers for servicing? ....just asking. andy, the schedule on my tohatsu 30 was, 1st service after 20 hours or 3 months and then yearly or 100 hours thereafter,but miss it at your peril, read harrisons cautionary tale (posted oct 24) saved him nearly 2grand!

Re: Wow.... .price for service Honda BF15d
Is that yearly after the first service, or yearly after the purchase date ?

I bring the OB for servicing everytime after the season. My season ends september or oktober, depending the weather. I bought it in spring so the first year it had two services.

@sonny1 nowt sinister, just logistics.
Rib up north during season and sib kept at home.
@Andy Suzuki not had its first service yet? Shame on you.
Also prefer to have motor serviced at end of season. It’s all ready to go for next year, dealers often busier in Spring, and perhaps more importantly it’s sitting over Winter with nice fresh new oils inside.

Hey Martin, a great OB, especially when there’s no water in the built in fuel filter.
Problem solved by adding an inline fuel filter so you have a visual check.
I like the trolling function too. Very handy while cruising at low speed. You should Google Giethoorn then you now what I mean.
Cheers
