A couple of years ago, I sanded down my gearbox and painted it with primer and Hammerite spray paint.
The engine is a 2-stroke and running it in the tub has made the Hammerite flake off and looks a mess.
It needs re-painting as the only paint on show is primer
I am thinking, why not paint the gearbox in Raptor 2k paint. The outboard is carried in the car so there is no point in spending loads of money and making it nice as it will just get scratched.

Raptor paint is supposed to be very strong.
I can't find anything on the interweb about anyone trying it, so thoughts???
