A sib is a soft floor inflatable boat that will roll up and fit into a bag to ease with carrying or storage.
There are many different floor designs, exampoles include - Air floor mat, Wooden/Metal boards over an Inflatable Keel or a High Pressure V Floor.

Well done Ross - sounds like a good learning experience and trip!

The new boat and outboard look great! And that's really interesting to know about another free slip to get onto the loch! :thumbsup

Thanks for this Ross. I haven't been on Loch Lomond for a few years... can you explain "kind of regretting paying £80 for the duncan mills slip now" When I last went it was free to register, £5 for the numb ers, and launching was free.

Keeping my fingers crossed that this weekend will be calm and I can get my Excel in the water ... possibly Poirt Edgar or Port Seton.
