Hi simonk,i had a look the ones that suit the t38 are £189 has any one on here got them and how do you rate them.
The genuine Honda set aren’t much cop. Pacermarine sell an aftermarket set which is better.
Ultimately the wheels are a compromise, but they do a job - I could never launch without them.
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

@Alan not the greatest pics but will give you an idea.

Fortunately I have a pillar drill, so could clamp the wheel in the vice, used a file to slightly flat the area to be drilled then used a 3 or 4mm drill to drill through the pins.

For the wire you can use replacement inners for mountain bike brakes, you can buy these on their own from bike shops and also the ferrules that clamp on the end to lock them off. On this one I improvised with some stuff I already had but you get the idea.

I then used some heat shrink and plastic tube to cover the wire to make it "finger friendly"

Cheers,

MM

I just want to say what great customer service I had from Ian at Nestaway Christchurch Dorset . I purchased An F-Rib 360 along with wheels and bow canopy and I was truly disappointed with the F-rib wheels , had no end of problems . I told Ian in great detail the issue I was having and I got a refund . I told him I had bought the beachmaster wheels from NZ and how great they are , which made him think about becoming a uk supplier of beachmaster wheels

Today I launched my F-rib from bowleaze cove near weymouth , its a 360 with a 20hp merc . I have to say the new beachmaster wheels I recently put on were absolutely fantastic . The slipway in truth needs a lot of work and the last time I launched with the F-rib wheels it was not a good day and the brackets bent and it was a real struggle . The beachmaster wheels are fantastic , easy to put down and easy to put up , they are a lot of money but well worth it in my view . I wish I had of brought the fixed ones as I now have them on the transom permanently .Thumbs up from me .

Hi there

I am a new member here but felt the need to post on this subject. A couple of months ago I purchased a set of the Beachmaster Type launch wheels for my new Honwave T38ie from E-bay. You know the ones usually advertised as "Rugged Heavy Duty Launching Wheels, Quick Release Option" £160 or thereabouts.

Used mine for the first time last week and had to recover about 30mtrs over a sandbank. Within 10 mtrs one of the wheels bent and fell to pieces the other is rickety and loose with the wheel wobbly.
The weight of the boat with motor and equipment is about 150kg at the most so not what you would expect from an "Rugged heavy duty" set of wheels. They are very cheap Chinese copies and are to avoided at all costs.

I have had to purchase a different more robust looking type but am now left with my transom with 8 useless holes i will have to fill as the new type obviously have a different bracket type.
