Re: Itiwit Electric Pump, anyone using one?
I know of at least one member on here other than you that uses the itiwit electric pump. It’s much cheaper than the Bravos (you can probably buy three itiwits for the price of a Bravo). Electric pumps are definitely much better than pumping a sib up from scratch using a manual pump.
You might want to consider changing the itiwit to run off one of the small 7ah lead acid batteries, instead of from the car accessory socket. Then you can use the pump away from the car.

I have the ITIWIT and for £40, compared to a foot pump it's brilliant (at the moment). I say 'at the moment' because I've only used it about half a dozen times.... but so far-so good.
It rattles and bounces around about a bit, is quite noisy and probably a little slower than the more expensive alternatives but still a great buy for the money IMO.

I have a boxed up 12 volt leisure battery for the fish finder, so using the pump whilst away from car should not be a problem

Chris do you think 7Ah is enough for one of these? I keep thinking of doing this but it takes at least 20 minutes of constant use to fully inflate the T38.?chris moody wrote: ↑09 Apr 2019, 19:00You might want to consider changing the itiwit to run off one of the small 7ah lead acid batteries, instead of from the car accessory socket. Re: Itiwit Electric Pump, anyone using one?
My Bravo used to inflate my T32 and now inflates my Takacat with a 7Ah battery. But the Bravo is quicker than 20 minutes. If you measure the current draw while the Itiwit is inflating your boat you could calculate the Ah required. The Decathlon website states it can draw up to 15 amps, so 20 minutes would be around 5Ah if it pulled the full 15 amps all the time, which might be borderline for a 7Ah battery.

Mmm. Thanks. I think I'll throw another tenner at it and go to something like a 12ah.

I have one of the Itiwit pumps inbound. I was slightly put off by some of the mixed reviews... but then the various Bravo’s also fall foul of some negative reviews. Fingers crossed it’ll go the distance as it’s going to be busy with a FRIB, SIB and air tent to blow air into.
