New knee stops play I'm afraid guys. Would be a bit harsh having 3 months min off work but able to get some boating in...…… that might take some explaining lol
I'm not really a Hobbit, just look like one. Real name is "Andy".

Hope the op went ok Andy.
What we doing guys as I’ll need to know by 11.30 as I’ll have to go get the boat, bring it back to my house & get it ready.

Re: Sib trip to the Isle of Wight in March 9th or 23rd
If the wind stays as per the forecast (a F3 / F4 Easterly or North Easterly) I suspect Ryde and back will still be doable. If the wind does not veer round to a NE / E overnight, then the return trip from Ryde in a F3 / F4 with wind over tide is not going to be pleasant in sibs, so I will go somewhere else instead.
Unfortunately I am not going to be able to finalise my plans until tomorrow morning with the forecast we currently have. It's just too windy for the wind to be coming in the wrong direction for us.
See you all at Warsash tomorrow morning at 0915. I will be going somewhere for lunch, just maybe not Ryde.

Will we still be launching from the same slipway if plans change to somewhere other than Ryde Chris ?
Just didn't want to start setting before the decision is made if we could move somewhere else.
Thanks

Brilliant, thanks. I didn't want to be the only one setup as everybody else drove off to another spotchris moody wrote: ↑22 Mar 2019, 12:40Still departing from Warsash Slip Shore Road Warsash @gazzabish . There are loads of options for different trips from there whatever the weather.
