Any excuse to be on the water

Post by sailrepair » 17 Sep 2015, 11:46

I just like being in or on the water. I have a F-rib 330 but when I'm not out in that I'm either windsurfing if its windy or fishing from my paddle board.

Windsurfing is part of my business and the windier and rougher it is the better.

SUP - I get a bit board paddling along so I troll lures behind me and fish at the same time. I love it I get home at 5 and if its calm I carry my board across the road and off I go. So during the summer I probably troll about 10 miles every week. For a change of scene I will go pike fishing on it. Image

At home I use a hard board but when traveling I use an inflatable board. The board uses the same technology as the inflatable sib floors but they go to much higher pressure - 18 psi. Last year I took the inflatable board to Florida and caught 11 sharks from it - https://youtu.be/FVlLhYDe4RA

Ahhh, my favorite target fish, just love pike fishing but far to old for a SUP, caught loads on a kayak though. The best bit of cooler weather is the pike fishing gets better............
