Good weekend turned to bad weekend

Post by Compo1804 » 09 Sep 2018, 19:47

After weeks of waiting finally met up with Martin and picked up my new trailer. Great
Bloke went out of his way for me.Top man :thumbsup So this morning all excited got my new T38 out of the box for the first time.
Plugged in my new Btp12 pump abd off I went. Then things went a bit pear shaped. Funny noise and smoke fron the pump. So now have send that back. Cant get more than 0.4 bar into the floor with foot pump😤😤😭well maybe you can but my asthma would not allow it today anyway :thud .so my sib is semi inflated and Im totally deflated😎🤣

Just a quick question, the foot pump has two outputs; are you using the high pressure one?

I presume this is the same pump you have?

And the answer is? Odd that a brand new BTP 12 would fail, they are highly reccemended Compo. I feel your pain when all you want to do is get out :drive :thud

My btp12 has stared playing up - it cuts out instantly if the pressure is already above about .3 bar, such as when topping up the floor.

If you want a fast cheap option. I've been using a £40 one from decathlon . Slower but working well.

I do feel your pain. You must have been left feeling very flat. ...............

I'll get my coat....

Gutted for you buddy, Generally the Bravo's seem to last well and they do a hell of a job. I have heard of a few that have gone pop before but the majority seem to work welll amd last for years.

Fingers crossed they relace it quickly, then you can get launched and hopefully grab a bity of new boat time.

Martin :cheers
