1: Don't snag the kill chord when pull starting - it tends to fly off into the water never to be seen again. Borrowed one from a mate who has a shed by the beach
2: When feeling around in the water to try and retrieve the above - don't dip your LJ into the water! oh well needed a new recharge kit anyway
3: Outboard performs very well, on plane quickly and down to low revs - even with the transom wheels down!!
4: Engine restarts very easily after stopping due to a closed vent screw
You'd think I was new to all this not someone with 11 yrs experience!!
Only a short trip as wind getting stronger and tide turned so the 2 were opposing and even the estuary was getting lumpy.
