[quote="harrison"]Nay lad, far too scary on that there Dark Side. Full of those big bad Boston Whalers allegedly! Nice boat by the way.

Re: Yet another 'Is me little RIB too big'
Looks like you've found "your" perfect boat there Harrison, and she looks a belter.
As said, yes we are predominantly a SIB & FRIB forum, but would never turn anyone away just because they've changed their type of craft
We had the opportunity some time ago to look at renaming the forum and opening it up to the larger ribs and such but the consensus seems to be "keep it as a smaller craft forum" so the sibs and fribs have a home of their own rather than playing second fiddle to the larger ribbing groups/communities & forums that already exist.
The "Darkside" name was a little humerous option that appears to have become quite popular, the main point being - those that like the forums laid back and relaxed approach can maintain their presence on here in their own category but still be active on the complete forum and remain a very valued member as every other person on here is.
That probably comes across as a load of old waffle lol, but I'm sure you get the gist

Perhaps a cruise over to the 'Dark Side of the Ocean' might be in order then.Martin wrote:We had the opportunity some time ago to look at renaming the forum and opening it up to the larger ribs and such but the consensus seems to be "keep it as a smaller craft forum" so the sibs and fribs have a home of their own rather than playing second fiddle to the larger ribbing groups/communities & forums that already exist.

Thanks again for all the kind comments guys. Picked up the boat the other day and really pleased with overall look and build quality so far.
