F-Rib stands

Post by jonsy » 22 Jul 2019, 14:43

Hi chaps ,
Have some work to do on the f-rib transom - filling holes and making new ones for my beach master brackets . I’m looking for a couple of frames / brackets to sit the boat in , is there such a thing . I was thinking of making a couple of wooden Xs with bolts through the middle that are connected by 2 bits of timber for stability . Thanks in advance for any input .

I sat mine on the kids garden bean bags when fitting my Beachmaster type wheels. That allowed me to get it level and squish it down so the wheels could rest on the floor for lining up purposes (they’re heavy enough to be awkward doing everything single handed otherwise).
