I have those as at the time there wasn't any available from Russia
They've been very good in operation but the bearings are a little rusty despite me washing them out after every outing and giving them a good spray of WD40.
That said I've launched the boat every month for 12 months in salty water and despite the rusty appearance they've not failed
BTW I did replace the pivot bolt with a stainless '8mm drop pin' to ease use/removal when folding the boat up
You'll have to check with Steve at F-Rib if they are the Russian ones, if they are then they are very sturdy and you can replace the bolt with the drop pin I've mentioned above.Tom wrote: and at http://foldablerib.com/product/launch-wheels/ which look like it'd be easy to take the pivot bolt out when packing it away. Does anyone know if these wheels are the same? I'd like to buy the sturdiest.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
James has these
Which hasn't a pivot bolt however they can 'spread' the bracket if you turn the boat on 'its heal' without forward motion when fully loaded.....however his is a 360 and the 275 being lighter may not suffer from this problem
Hope this helps you
