You say air is escaping but are you saying air is coming from the valve once you have removed the pump.

The only safe way to be sure of the pressure in the tubes is to use a 12v pump with gauge and cut off limit or a foot / hand pump and a manometer which is a bloody handy thing to have anyway so you can check the pressure (0.25bar) when the boat has been sat in cold water although it seems less of an issue with the Frib.

Is the Bravo multi fit to the same tubing or valve fittings? Or buy a specific attachment at the same time?
Thanks
The f-rib valve adapter is shorter than some others, I cut the one off the supplied foot pump before binning it and fitted it to the bravo hose.

Success!
Thanks guys, I remembered I had a back up pump I'd bought for my previous SIB and had never even taken out of it's wrapper...
Anyway, seems a better quality pump and put the Frib adapter on - I have now pumped the tubes very firm with no air release on disconnection. My patches are holding air but will recheck again tomorrow. Fingers crossed. :thumbsup
