Sonar transducer

Post by pilchardthecat » 07 Sep 2018, 10:31

I'm still shopping for my frib but trying to solve a few problems in my head before i buy (360)

In my 'yak i have a garmin gps fishfinder, i installed the transducer inside the hull with sikaflex, and the battery in a locker, so everything is hidden apart from the device itself (wires out through waterproof grommets next to the mount)

I'd like to do something similar with the frib, at least with the transducer, but i'm interested generally in how people have rigged up all the various fishing bits so they arent bouncing around in the boat (given that there's no drilling and screwing of scotty bits to the sides of the boat).

Where do you run cables and whatnot?

Thanks. Totally new to serious inflatables so really no idea :)
