F-Rib "D rings" Where would you put them, pls vote.
Was all set to glue D rings on to allow me to dock the F-Rib to my swim platform (F-Rib Port side) and to my davits (F-Rib starboard side) therefore suspending the F-Rib on it's side at the rear of my boat.
As I am not worried about losing a bit of speed my plan was to attach them below the rubbing strake putting them probably under the water line as in the first pic.
Wife has said she would prefer them above the rubbing strake as in the second pic.
I'm now dithering.....
Above or below please vote.

Above.
We had handles above the strake in the back where you're looking to place your rings. The water would spray against them, force it up, forward and into the boat which usually meant my back was soaked. I put a rubber guard on them to help re-direct the spray. Even if you're not worried about drag, you never know how they may spray.

Wrote a note said, 'back in a minute'. Bought a boat and I sailed off in it.

79 views but only 5 votes....
4 for 'Above' and 1 for 'to suit big boat'
I hope to keep the thread going till I get a majority 'Below' 'cause that's where I wanted to put them

Seems like having a vote but ignoring the majority answer if it's not what was wanted is becoming a bit of a theme . . .tomcourtney wrote:
