transom transducer was no good to near the prop , on the right hand side \ did not work well going to put it on the right side of the tube at the rear use a cam strap to keep it firm . also bought inflatable seat thwarts 28 inch good strong material easier for me to get around the sib with the leg off , ,also can place them anywhere on the sib, and can sit in the centre with a tiller extension save sitting on the tube sides , £50 each of EVILBAY .,
thinking of using the alloy seat to put my compass and the fish finder on at the front in the process of making a battery box so i can run my fish finder and rear white light i made from bits and pieces lying around happy with what i have would like a bigger outboard but a 6 is plenty for me to carry . :wavey catch ya oan the flip side great day out on the forth ,with the guys from forth on sibs inch keith inch gnome island behind inch combe Funny ,gnomes all over the wee island at the back of inch combe at the abbey

"Edinburgh Tohatsu" isn't something I've heard of, nor has G**gle!
Is that on a label on it or else where have you seen that?
cheers

i was told on another site it was not carb model ,an Edinburgh tohatsue 9.8 is an injection model ,i have never heard of it either , Was sweating until i took the hood off an found it was a carb , not injection , it was mike Brinley i think who said it cant be sure ,may as well just let it go , heard of bigger outboard s being injection but not as small as the 9.8 the injection type is supposed to be lighter but harder to work on ,Maybe a wind up i dont know mate anyway happy with what i got shes a2015 with only 20 hrs on her travelled down to Dartmoor it was moon so we kept to the road AWOOOOW then back to Glasgow then to Edinburgh , she also has hydro foil fitted to the shaft as well swapped my tohatsu 6hp & some cash ,think shes done 30 hrs 2017 great wee motor , just needed something bigger for the east coast Scotland ,, waters tidal on the forth was quite tricky getting back to the launch site on an out going tide with strong undercurrents going at angles to the sib , here's hoping for better weather next year

well after me getting conned ,was able to get the 25hp 2 stroke trade in for a new 15hp tohatsu 4stroke and im now getting the 365 boat world pro next month when they come in ,they have had some new mods like hold straps at the rear & lifting handles at rear at the pontoon transom area so you can lift the side and drop the wheels . also has mor D rings for transporting the boat on a trailer easier for me as only got one leg , im looking for a good transom saver as i want to bolt the outboard to the transom and drive it to locating with it on all the time any advice on which one to get guys . be my first time with a aluminium floor ,mates coming round to show me how to fit it, by that time i should have the trailer bunkers sorted out hope ya all have a Braw New year tight lines and safe sibbing out there
