Am curious with the difference in design. Is it a wetter ride than a typical SIB?
Wrote a note said, 'back in a minute'. Bought a boat and I sailed off in it.

No wetter than a regular SIB. The bow is fairly high out of the water due to the design and doesn’t scoop water as it looks like it will (and the recent video of a similar design getting swamped which was 100% user issue).
There is some spray if you go over 10knots without planing, but it’s mainly the person at the tiller getting the worst of it.
No spray or backwash at the transom, and I love the open concept which makes it so easy to clean. I am waiting for the local Marine police to stop me and ask where my bailer is …
One thing to be aware of is that if you beach the boat and there are waves coming in, they will swamp the rear end as the lack of transom just lets the waves all the way along the air deck.
