Good to know, thanks Alan. Sounds like the rollers would do the job

I made an aluminium trolley with two quad bike wheels and tyres for my Honwave t40 and mariner 15.
it breaks down to fit in the caravan when i'm away camping on the west coast of Ireland as i beach launch.
I can haul it 200 yards up the beach on my own without dropping from a heart attack.
I can post some pics if you're interested.

I’d like to see some pics of that. I am rapidly loosing heart with the launch wheels on my Honwave - they just aren’t designed for the hammer I am giving them.
Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

It’s not surprising Chris when you think about it, when you lift the boat because there’s play in the connecting tubes on the legs & the transom bracket only a small part of both pieces are touching & taking the whole weight of the boat.ChrisParish wrote: ↑27 Apr 2019, 08:25I’d like to see some pics of that. It should have had a better design than what it has, perhaps angle iron where they join but I suspect that what ever they used wouldn’t be up to the job because of the stress at that point.
I suppose what it needs is some sort of stabiliser bar from the leg to the transom above the connection to keep the legs rigid & take some of the strain.
