Cuddy

I have a FRib 330 and have seem pictures on here of similar boats sporting a front cuddy.
For those that have them, are they easy to fit as the pictures seem to show them held on
with hooks round the rubrail which seems a bit dodgy to me especially if its windy?
Are they worth having and what sort of price can I expect to pay?

Hooks work great and you can easily make your own with some heavy duty material a bit of time and a tent pole. To buy its a fair chunk of change.

The cuddy is supported by its own frame, generally speaking you adhere the mounts to the tubes - some of the guys cable tie them in place rather than using adhesive.
The clips on the rub strake are to keep the material from lifting in wind thus stopping spray from entering the Frib.

The genuine Frib cover is a little expensive, but buy it and any other Frib accessories at the same time as your Frib from Frib South East (Alan is a member on here) and hopefully he’ll do you a package deal.

Alternatively you could make your own as I have,

Would someone be kind enough to post a pic of how it looks inside the boss? I have one of the original items that came with mine but cannot for the life of me work how to fit it so it stays up!
Many thanks ozz
