That sinking feeling & New Boat shocker.

Its not as bad as it sounds.

I got back from my favourite place (Arisaig on the West coast of Scotland) and was looking to flush the engine and can't find the fuel pipe anywhere, I have turned my garage upside down. Now I seem to remember putting at the side of my on a rock as we packed up......Oooooops !

Anyway, that was just the current issue, it’s been a while since I posted on here, I have an FRib 360 which only gets out once a year, weather was not great this year but I had all the family with me this time so I also took 2 sea Kyaks and a new backup boat - the Boatworld Air V Type Floor 330.

I know I could have gone for a Honwave but my budget was tight and it was only really to fasten my old electric outboard so nobody got left out.

The main reason I went for this 330 was that it would take my Suzuki 15Hp if anything happened to the Frib.

So here is the shocker (and I am sure most of this is personal preference), I put the Frib away before the final day of the trip (as its fully loaded and takes ages), and stuck the 15HP on the Boatworld for a bit of fun in the bay.

Honestly I much prefer this for messing about than the Frib, so much more flexible, you can chuck it around and it still feels stable. I would probably still prefer the Frib when going further out fishing but I just thought I would share my findings if anyone were interested.

Fribs are hard to get hold of and expensive, the Boatworld seems pretty decent quality for the money, there are more handles and solid fixtures as well as the advantage that it takes half the time to setup than the frib (and less bits to worry about!).

I don’t have much footage of the boat in action as I never planned on a review but now wish I had given it more time and showed the difference, I didn’t have my phone on the boat so can’t compare it to the 20Knots I get on the Frib but it can’t be far off !

I should also add that when I was looking I had a few messages with Cameron from Boatworld, he was super responsive, professional and friendly.
