Recently bought one of these from boatworld from a nocie point of view seems like a decent replica of the t38. Still haven't had a break in the rain to have a shot ( don't want to get my new boat wet)
Anyway I was wondering if anyone has used the Swan neck launch wheels from boatworld on this or similar boat. Do they do the job? Don't fancy dropping another 2 ton on them to find out they don't do what they say on the tin.
Also I like visiting any islands on lochs etc and on my last boat I would literally just point the nose where I was landing and scrape in to shore lol, never ripped anything previously but with this being a bit more expensive I don't want to damage anything. How would experienced boaters get onto an island? Are u jumping out in shallow water and anchoring the boat or what?
380 vtype air floor boat.

Re: 380 vtype air floor boat.
I used the swan-neck style wheels on my honwave and never had a problem with them.
the only time I ever scraped my boat up the beach I cut a 12” hole in the bottom of it (not my air-floor boat, thankfully).
Given that you have launch wheels I would suggest the following landing routine:
Put the wheels down and raise the engine to shallow drive.
Move forward until the wheels touch
Get out of the boat
Grab the handle at the front and pull it up the beach on the wheels.

Not a complete idiot - some parts are missing.

Re: 380 vtype air floor boat.
Cheers for the reply
Was it the Swan necks from boatworld you used on the honwave or specifically honwave ones?
As for the landing, I thought as much. Looks like I will be investing in a drysuit after all.. for a guy with a boat am weirdly adverse to getting wet when there's an alternative lol.

Mine weren’t from boat world (it wasn’t around at that point) but I don’t think they were genuine Honda ones.

Re: 380 vtype air floor boat.
Cheers Chris. Think I'm going to bit the bullet and go for them. Need to get out for a shot of this. Bought it about 4 weeks ago and not really had a predictable enough dry Weekend to have a shot yet.
