Yep. Questions.

How and where's the Ranieri?
How's the 60hp engine rebuild going?
When will we see videos of the Fletchers?
When are you back on the Broads?

Eargerly waiting for next installments!

Even if the rarely uncovered boats are not going out, why not give a tour of the BP shipyard and you can make it educational for those with less experience, good bits bad bits etc.

I could do that but my point was perhaps for others to post some pics or videos

I visit the forum most days but there's not much to post from me as I am an unashamed fair weather sailor.
Depending on the weather here in Fife I will probably start to remove my kit from hibernation in a couple of weeks to check everything over in preparation for the 'summer' and also see how things go with my planned project of modifying a golf trolley to use as a bow dolly so may have something to share then.
We will be heading off south and on to France, sans boat, May/June time. Once I'm back in July, August & September I will hopefully be out and about on the Forth so will certainly be posting then.

Meanwhile, I simply enjoy vicariously the exploits of those hardier souls who venture out in the meantime, so your contributions are always most welcome.

Given the grim start to the years weather I think most are sensibly only now getting going which in itself means people are away from computers.

I've been off the water for a cervical disk replacement, but slowly getting back to it now.

Boats out of winter garage home, run up , washed and ready to go. I've even ordered a new spare ready for the trailering it about 😀

Trailer wheel and tyres are getting expensive !

Glad you are getting better. I just bought a 500 x 10 inch wheel and tyre with mounting kit as a spare for £54 delivered which I thought was an ok price

Yep.. I replaced the boat trailer with an extreme last year. Great trailer... but spare tyre was 100 quid from them. Like you 50 quid ish delivered elsewhere.

I'm actually getting my little rib out this afternoon.. making the most of the northerly wind here in Bournemouth and jetski tomorrow morning....

Next week is a work weekend on a 10m 600 horse commercial cobra 😀... !

So
..... today we ended up with 3 of us out. 30 miles .. so a gentle run along the beach.

Valiant 450 and 40hp
Zodiac 420 and 40hp
Avon 4. And 50hp..

Good simple small boat fun.

Tomorrow 180hp yamaha loonacy ( with professional standards of course 👌)

And as I trundled down the river. Mudeford lifeboat came past at full chat to reports of someone in the river... and apologised for the wash on thier way back. What nice chaps 😀
