Post by Bigplumbs » 31 Mar 2023, 07:21

We are taking our little Motorhome and Honwave on a little Nothern tour of the U.K. I will post some videos here. Hopefully this will inspire at least one person to do the same

So we got out on the lake on day 2 and it rained a bit. We still had a good day however. Here is a little video of our day out on Ullswater

Yes it was rather wet and rough but when you have driver over 295 miles that boat is going in lol 😆

Despite the rain etc we had a lovely time. Just been out on Loch Lomond video will be uploaded soon

Well we have continued North and staying in Taynuilt in the little motor home and encouraged by the intripid Donny Wilcox we have taken the Honwave T38 ie 2 out on Loch Etive. Incredible Scenery and the rain held off. Video below.

Well yes as our zone is East Anglia lol 😉✌️

Do you think you will ever get another Sib they are so versatile and the T38 ie is very light to carry even without wheels. For travelling I don’t think there is a better sib

Actually have been looking around the 3.3m size and I like the look of the Boatworld paddleboard SIB but wonder how much use it would get. Now have a 70lb thrust motor as aux for the Ranieri but will never sell the 5hp Tohatsu so would use that on it. Received push-back from mrs Limecc.

Currently motorising her 16ft ocean kayak so I fancy trying that. Nice little transom building project, I'll document it and post it on the forum. Still have the Networld Sports dropstitch floor kayak, might even motorize that so we can be out together. You and I are different that I can't bear to have boats not used. Those Fletchers of yours would be first to go haha.

You have to consider the word used and what is use. What use is money in the bank…. If never used. Is a picture on the wall used and if so how. If you look at it and enjoy what you see is that use. If you look at your boats and enjoy what you see is that use.

It constantly makes me smile how many people seem to get in some way annoyed about my fleet of boats and love to tell me that I should sell them. Those same people usually have loads of money in the bank that they will not ever use yet they fail to understand about the boats. There is almost always one of the 7 at play and also a good helping of OCD that they can’t help trying to inflict on others
