Lake Windermere Reg numbers display
Hi folks, I am going to the lakes for a couple of weeks soon. I know I have to register my SIB and I believe they issue you with registration numbers which has to be displayed at all times while you are on the lake.
My question is, how do you display the numbers on your SIB, the supplied numbers are self adhesive but will not stick on the SIB tubes.

How about on the engine cover?
With sufficient thrust, pigs will fly just fine.

Its the same for Loch Lomond, I stuck them to a piece of plastic board that they provide and strung them between two handles on each side, cord running top and bottom to prevent it twisting, easy to fit and easy to remove

Re: Lake Windermere Reg numbers display
I had the same problem in the USA with displaying my Registration and numbers. While some actual painted or stenciled the numbers. I simply used a piece of plastic from the boating store and put on purchased self stick numbers and State tag. The plastic is simply clipped to the grab rope.

Hi @Bigplumbs
Just been to Windermere today and stopped by at the public slipway at FerryNab (next to Bowness-on-Windermere) to suss out whats required.
The following websight will give you a basic overview and map/location but there are other charges/details you need to know.
https://www.southlakeland.gov.uk/leisur ... launching/
However:
Ive photo'd the price lists I obtained at the site office so all the info is there.
Hope this gives you a fuller insight as the Lakeland District Council website is a bit light on detail.
