Can't see the video on my phone for some reason. I'll have a look later when I'm home.
The portability and good flight time along with many other of its features makes the mavic pro stand head and shoulders above anything else on the market (at the moment) great piece of kit, but at a price?
I've been thinking about getting back into fixed wing flying again. RC technology has come on so far these days since the last time I had one. Never had FPV back then and flight times would be far superior to anything you could achive with a drone. Not only that, the chances of being hassled are far less :D
Flying from a boat would be fun.....
I was pretty good at the fling and catch, but you wouldn't get a second chance......

This is probably a good time to make a fool of myself. I have just uploaded it to you tube so you guys can have a quick laugh at me before i delete it:)
Before you watch it i will try to put you in the picture.
I have always been keen on stuff like this but have never got around to owning one or flying one before.
A guy just finished building it but was too scared to fly it so he put it up for sale . I paid the chicken £150 thinking an electric plane can't be that hard to fly. After watching numerous videos of this plane flying at 50mph it was my time to play captain......enjoy:)

Jim.
That'll be at Beaulieu aerodrome then :D
About 5 miles from where i live.
Jim you're way above my standards. the first plane i flew had a couple of strings coming out of the ends of the wing, (i kid you not....... :rofl )
Do a search for "COX planes"

Later i moved on to RC stuff
Like i say it was a long time ago and luckily no camera's back then :D
Picture from my tracker on the Phantom. (flyaways were quite common back then!)
